Why attend

The Baseball Show  is a unique event providing baseball training and education with product awareness and celebrity interaction. The Legends Sports & Events Mgmt. created an environment to promote the growth of baseball through a fun and educational event.

Everyone attending has the opportunity to mingle and learn from the staff comprised of current and former major league players and coaches including Clevelad Indians infielder Josh Barfield, collegiate coaches, and professional instructors. (Additional names to come)

This is truly an event which will create lasting memories!

Organizations, teams, players and coaches can develop and expand their program through the following:

1) Improve your program’s coaching and player performance and knowledge of the game:

A) Clinics will include hitting, bunting, base running, infield play, outfield play, pitching, practice organization, drills, strength and conditioning, speed, mental approach, injury prevention, obtaining collegiate scholarships and the related process, amongst other topics. Clinics will range from fundamental to advanced depending upon the topic. The clinicians will be current and former major league players and coaches, college coaches, and other professional instructors.

B) Coaching clinics are scheduled and designed to train coaches at all levels of the game based upon their experience and knowledge. Coaches can select sessions most beneficial to them and attend those specific sessions.

C) Adolescents, 14 and older, can attend advanced clinics designed for high school and collegiate players. Sessions will focus on all aspects of baseball and fastpitch providing knowledge on the process of playing collegiate baseball or fastpitch, the ability and method to obtain athletic scholarships, and the NCAA Clearing House.

D) Youth clinics, ages 7yrs. – 13yrs. will provide both interactive and classroom sessions on all aspects of the game. Youth participants can choose to attend clinics of choice in order to perfectly target their needs and quest for advancement of baseball or fastpitch skills and knowledge.

E) Parents can attend sessions with their children in order to obtain additional knowledge to help advance their children and share quality time with them.

2) Product and market awareness:

A) Enjoy the exhibition hall featuring exhibitors displaying and selling the latest in athletic equipment, athletic apparel, uniforms, hats, athletic shoes, awards, memorabilia, training devices, tournaments, training facilities, events, and related items. Take advantage of purchasing products at a discount, testing new products, or just learning what is new in the market.

B) Meet with peers to market your tournaments, schedule games, share ideas, or just meet new friends and associates.

C) Network with area directors, tournament directors, and coaches to expand your organizations contacts.

D) Attend the USSSA State meeting to learn about 2008 rules, tournaments, state tournaments, events, and World Series.

E) Attend additional organizational meetings held.

3) Celebrities, fun, and excitement:

A) Coaches, parents, and youth participants can enjoy meeting and interacting with celebrities. They can obtain pictures, autographs, or just share stories or a laugh. This is a unique and memorable opportunity for everyone.

B) Coaches, parents, and youth participants can attend clinics with celebrity instruction and receive insight into the game.

C) Youth participants can enjoy the interactive area of the exhibition hall where training devices and new products can be used and tested as well as partake in other interactive activities.

D) Youth, parents, and coaches can enjoy scheduled social activities or just mingle with friends and enjoy the facilities and surrounding area.

F) Attend Fridays Opening Reception where all celebrities are present and available for pictures, autographs, and conversation.

Have your organization become an ambassador for the event. As an ambassador organization a special benefit is the ability to select a number of youth participants and coaches to act as welcoming committees and aids for selected celebrities. This is a once in a lifetime experience!
